This venue is on our list because we checked it against its own official pages, not because we have photographed a wedding here. Everything on this page comes from the venue; the photograph is a Creative Commons image graded to match this site, credited below it. When you book us for a date here, we scout the place first.

The seat of the Counts of Kesselstatt since 1445, and one of the rare venues with a registry office working on site — a branch of the Standesamt Schweich. The civil ceremony is possible in two rooms: the great salon or the Trauhalle. A free ceremony can happen in the park, in the inner courtyard or on the Großer Hof, and the reception moves into the restored Zehntscheune for about seventy-five people.

One caveat, printed on their own page and we will not hide it: for 2026 they are not accepting further civil ceremonies. Plan this one from 2027.

Forty-nine minutes from the studio. We have not photographed a wedding here yet.
