Neumünster is the urban-modern alternative to all the rural châteaux. It's a former Benedictine abbey, restored in 2004 as a cultural centre, and the Agora Marcel Jullian — 494 m², up to 400 people — is the hall neimënster lists for weddings.

The exterior in the Grund — old stone, river running underneath, cathedral on the cliff above — is the closest thing Luxembourg has to a "European city" wedding aesthetic. We have shot couples here who specifically wanted to avoid the country-château look.

Capacity goes up to 400 in the Agora, which makes Neumünster a strong option for larger international weddings.
