Preisch sits at 2 rue des Lilas in Basse-Rentgen, closer to our studio than Vianden is. A 17th-century château with a courtyard of honour, a ballroom and a park of two-hundred-year-old trees — bald cypress, purple beech, magnolias.
What matters practically: the estate leaves you free on suppliers — no imposed caterer — and there is accommodation on site, from a studio to a dormitory, so the guests who travel furthest do not have to drive back at night.
