This is what twelve real Luxembourg weddings in 2025 cost — the median, the range, and where couples we worked with felt they over- or under-invested.
The headline number
Median total spend across the 12 weddings: €38,000. Range: €14,000 (40-guest civil + restaurant dinner) to €92,000 (130-guest full-day at a château with destination guests). The €38,000 figure is for an 80-100 guest full-day wedding at a Luxembourg venue. That is the most common shape we shoot.
Two thirds of every wedding budget goes to three line items: venue, catering, and photography/video. The rest — dress, florals, music, hair-and-makeup, transport, stationery, rings — adds up to about a third of total spend in roughly equal parts.
Venue + catering
For 80-100 guests at a Luxembourg château like Bourglinster or Urspelt, expect €14,000-€22,000 for venue hire including the standard food-and-drinks package the venue offers. Wine markup is typically 2.5× retail. Couples who supplied their own wine via the venue's corkage option saved €1,500-€3,000 on average.
Mairies do not charge for the civil ceremony itself. Restaurant reception venues for civil-only days run €60-€140 per head depending on tier.

Photography + video
For Luxembourg weddings, full-day photography runs €1,400-€3,000 depending on tier. Full-day cinematic video adds €1,400-€2,500. Premium albums run €450-€890. Most of the couples we shot in 2025 spent between 7% and 12% of total wedding budget on photo+video combined.

Florals
Median florals spend was €3,400. The range was wide — €800 for elopement-scale bouquets to €11,000 for a five-arrangement château install. Florals scale with venue ceiling height: a vaulted hall needs taller centrepieces, taller centrepieces are exponentially more expensive.
The hidden costs
Wedding-day transport (couple + immediate family + guests from hotel) averaged €800-€1,400. Hair-and-makeup for the bride + 4 maids averaged €900-€1,200. Wedding stationery from invite to thank-you cards averaged €700.
The most-skipped cost that ended up being needed: a wedding planner for the day-of coordination, even when the couple did their own planning. The median spend among couples who hired only "month-of" coordination was €1,200, and 11 of 12 couples we worked with said it was the line item they would not skip if they did it again.
The honest summary
You can absolutely have a beautiful wedding in Luxembourg for €15,000 if you keep the guest count under 30 and pick a restaurant venue. You can spend €100,000 if you book a destination château with destination guests. Median is €38,000 for the wedding shape most of our clients pick. Photography, the venue, and the food — in that order of priority for our couples — are where the spending compounds into memory.
