Our story
Andre runs the
visuals.
Anastasiia runs the
studio.
We’ve been a couple since well before Lux Photo Pro existed. We’ve been building this business together since 2018. We do not bring our relationship into your wedding day — you get a producer and an art director, in the most professional sense.

Chapter 01
How we met.
Andre has been shooting professionally since 2010 and moved to Luxembourg in 2022. Anastasiia ran operations for a Paris fashion studio before joining him. We met at a mutual friend’s wedding — Andre was shooting, Anastasiia was a guest who knew the bride from school.
The first business conversation between us happened three months later. Andre was running everything solo at the time: shoots, edits, contracts, invoices, client emails after midnight. Anastasiia took one look at his Trello board and said the obvious thing: this doesn’t scale.
Six months later she had restructured the studio operations end-to-end. A year later we registered Lux Photo Pro S.à r.l. together. We’ve been co-running the business since.
Anastasiia, 2018
“I told him he was the best photographer in the country with the worst business in the country. Then I quit Paris and moved here to fix it.”
Chapter 02
Why we don’t bring it into your day.
There’s a kind of wedding photography studio where the couple-photographer story is the whole brand: the matching outfits, the joint Instagram, the couple-shoots-couples angle. We respect those studios — and we deliberately did not become one.
Two reasons. First, your wedding day is about you. The last thing you need is another couple making it about themselves. Second, the strongest version of our work happens when we are running in separate lanes: Andre on creative direction, Anastasiia on production. The relationship is the engine; the work is the output.
What you get from us, day-of, is a producer and an art director. You get Anastasiia’s WhatsApp number. You get Andre’s sign-off on your final gallery. You do not get our wedding anecdotes.

Chapter 03
The studio became a team.
By 2019 Andre was personally shooting 90 weddings a year. That math doesn’t work — the body breaks, the edits slip, the bride from January gets her gallery in August. We made a decision that year: hire and train, or cap bookings.
We chose both. Andre keeps a personal hard cap of 10 weddings a year as the lead photographer — we publish this number, we publish the count of slots booked, and we stop selling when we hit the cap. Everything beyond that is shot by trained team members: Armando, Kseniia, Guilherme, Azhin. Andre signs off every gallery, but you do not need him to physically hold the camera.
Five years into running it this way, the most consistent compliment we get is that nobody can tell which team member shot which wedding from the gallery alone. That’s the system working.
